I left a trash bag outside my door for 10 minutes. Now my neighbor is stalking me.

I live alone. I was cleaning and set a trash bag in the hall while I put my shoes on to take it out. My neighbor acted like I committed a murder. She started pacing in front of my door. At midnight. I checked my Ring camera. She was taking photos of my doormat and waving at the lens.

I opened the door to ask her to stop. She screamed at me, calling me a “Spoiled Brat” and said she can film whatever she wants. She said the police won’t care about “hallway drama.”

I was terrified. I checked the “Harassment Laws” on LocalAll. In my state, “Course of Conduct” that causes fear IS illegal. Even in a hallway. I printed the statute and taped it to her door. She hasn’t come back since.
